In the rush-rush, busy-hurriedness of our modern day world, we rarely find or make the time to slow down, find stillness and calm and reconnect with our hearts and who we truly are–who we always have been. Retreat and Rescue is all about reconnecting with your heart and then pouring out love on animals who have been left-out, forgotten, or cast aside. In this Retreat and Rescue, attendees will be guided through both a morning and an evening yoga practice and will spend their afternoons pouring out love, kindness, compassion and a whole lot of ear scratches and belly rubs on the dogs rescued by the National Mill Dog Rescue (www.milldogrescue.org). A private chef will provide three delicious vegan meals per day and morning free time can include a trip up Pikes Peak, exploring Garden of the Gods state park, or walking along the sidewalks of the charming town of Manitou Springs. 10% of all registrations will be donated back to the National Mill Dog Rescue so they can continue to do the work they do.
This exquisite home near the famous Broadmoor hotel offers a variety of shared or single rooms, community lounge areas, and a place to come together to share meals with one another.
