overview

Location: Idyllwild, United States

Join us where the mountains meet the Joshua Tree desert, in Idyllwild, California. On the Mend is an intimate all-female healing retreat that emphasizes self-love, sisterhood and various holistic modalities to support those recovering from all forms of trauma. The 4 day & 3 night retreat is curated and led by trauma experts and heart & body healers, Brittany Piper and Em Geeves. Both women have extensive background working with survivors across many forms of adversity including but not limited to: loss and grief, sexual assault, domestic abuse, mental health conditions, eating disorders, emotional abuse and addiction.

Trauma can become trapped across our entire health-systems, including physically, emotionally and mentally. This makes it difficult for survivors to feel connected or in control of their mind, body and emotions, and even more difficult to find a sense of safety and calm in their own lives.

In this space participants will be guided through various healing modalities of heart and body work–allowing survivors the space to acknowledge and release trauma from their bodies and subconscious.

accommodations

Join us where the mountains meet the Joshua Tree desert, in Idyllwild, California. “The Chalet,” our cozy home for the retreat weekend, is a 2-story custom alpine-style home featuring panoramic views from 6,200 feet up of the pristine San Jacinto Mountain ridges and San Bernardino National Forest. Come nestle among the trees and watch the sunset while enjoying a hot mug of cocoa from one of the many scenic decks and wrap-around porches.

Be prepared for chilly nights and mild afternoons. We’re talking ALL the flannels. This home offers king, queen, and full-sized beds. Grab your bunk spot or private room today, as space is limited to support the intimate environment that’s required for healing work.
