Self-Acceptance stretches beyond how we think of ourselves. It us acknowledging our whole beings. Recognizing our thoughts, behaviour, lifestyle, and most importantly our real competition. Our ego we feed, unhealthy food we consume, knowledge and opportunities we neglect, negative behaviour we nurture, inspiration and creativity we abandon. Self-Acceptance is understanding that everyday is a new chance to beat our competition and be our best selves.

Without self-acceptance our physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing can suffer and lead to serious health issues later in our life. The lack of awareness and connection to oneself can lead to depression, severe anxiety, eating disorders, high levels of stress and damage one’s ability to connect with others in social situations. Ultimately lack of self-acceptance leads down a quick spiral of rejection of oneself and isolation towards anyone around who might be trying to offer help.

Self-Acceptance is a process of getting to know oneself again, which may mean digging up things from our past that we have buried deep in the corners of our subconscious. In fact, when we put ourselves through this intense stress our bodies are trapping energy in our most vulnerable parts attaching our fears and insecurities with them. When we connect with our entire being we can release this energy and feel an overwhelming sense of relief and peace.

This retreat runs for 7 nights and 8 days and will focus around the importance of self-acceptance, who our real competition is, and how we can actively recondition our brain to think positively about ourselves in situations where we would otherwise be our biggest critics. Our workshops and group sessions will tackle ways we can recondition our mentality to think in terms of positivity and awareness rather than comparison and criticism of ourselves to others.

Guests can expect daily yoga and meditations to align the mental, physical, and spiritual aspects while exploring the seaside sanctuary of Essaouira. As well as discovering an array of local activities to completely immerse the senses for an experience unparalleled to anything like it. This retreat is limited to 14 spots and exclusively intended for the woman to tap into her divine goddess and learn how to wholeheartedly show unconditional love and acceptance towards herself while radiating love and light for others to follow.


Location: A sumptuous luxury private Villa will play host to our monthly retreats. Set on incredible land, with picturesque views. This Villa with its sumptuous rugs to intricate carvings and an ambience that permeates and ensures a luxurious sense of relaxation, with a customary old world undertone, will support in creating the most harmonious space for maximum healing.

Trained at the NYC ICE culinary institute and working globally as a Private Chef, Summer teams her Iraqi heritage, her western upbringing and being well travelled as the inspiration behind her culinary creations. With a well-crafted menu that enhances the self-healing experience, guests can expect to have an incredible culinary experience throughout their stay.

With a private chef onsite to prepare our daily meals, all dietary needs can be accommodated. A seasonal daily menu will be created using the freshest local produce and large elements of farm to table dining. A mindful menu has been created by chef Summer to enhance the self-healing process.

Understanding that the majority of the guests will be flying in internationally, we recommend using Marrakech airport. This houses many International and European flights daily. Alternatively Casablanca Airport also serves International flights and transfers can be arranged upon request. Essaouira Airport, although the closest airport to Villa Anouk is a local airport with a limited number of flights coming into it weekly.

Essaouira Airport is the nearest airport to Villa Anouk - 20/30 min Distance - Complementary transfers will be offered.

Marrakech Airport is an International Airport - approx 2.5 hrs Distance - Complementary transfers will be offered. A truly picturesque drive, and the perfect start to your Morocco experience. Arrangements can be made to stop in Marrakech prior to arriving in Essaouira.

Casablanca Airport is an International Airport - approx 4 hrs Distance - Transfers can be arranged, although we advise taking a connecting flight from Casablanca to Marrakech or Essaouira.
